2005 Expansion: A Fresh Start

The RHL picked it self up after the lockout and stormed ahead strong with twelve teams. The Racers were purchased and moved to Newmarket. The Woodsticks were also purchased and moved to Mississauga. The League added two teams for 2005-06, The Hiawatha Fingers, and the Chatham Clamhammers. This would be the first and last season for two of those teams:

GM: Robert Atkinson

The Fingers GM was fired after only one season and the franchise was purchased and moved to Vancouver. Today the team is known as the Alliston 93 Leafs.

Newmarket Dickhandlers

2005-06

GM: Eric Kimla

Team folded at the beginning of the year and was forced to finish the season without a GM. Kevin Grover purchased the team and is now known as the Sarnia Colts
